When 'gatal' cuts both ways

I cannot understand what's going on these days. First, someone said divorcees are gatal (randy).
Now a Universiti Malaya lecturer suggests misyar marriage, indirectly suggesting that unmarried women are also gatal.
And tot he one who supported his idea, the doctor from the other university: if vice is going to happen, it can happen both ways. This is because men are gatal too.
I'm a guy, by the way, and I respect the lady who raised me without a man around.
